3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
To arrange for a service, you are required to:
- Be a minimum of 18 years old
- Submit precise and complete details
- Consent to these Terms & Conditions
- Allow entry to the premises at the agreed times
3.2 Confirmation
A booking is only deemed confirmed after you have received a written acknowledgment from us. We maintain the discretion to decline our services to any individual.
3.3 Availability
Service availability is contingent on the accessibility of our technicians and the service location. We will endeavor to accommodate your service requests on your preferred dates and times within reasonable bounds.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
Our quoted prices are in £ and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless specified otherwise. The pricing is susceptible to alterations without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Emergency services: Payment due at service completion
- Jobs over £1,000: A 50% upfront payment is required during booking
- Remaining balance: Payable upon job completion
- Any additional fees: Payable upon job completion
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept a variety of payment methods including major credit cards, direct bank transfers, and certified checks. Payments are processed through secure and encrypted systems.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- If canceled more than 48 hours prior to service: Full deposit refunded
- If canceled between 24 and 48 hours prior to service: 50% of the deposit refunded
- If canceled less than 24 hours prior to service: Deposit is non-refundable
- For emergency service cancellations: A fee of £100 applies
5.2 Emergency Service Guarantee
In cases of emergency services, if we're unable to respond within 2 hours, the following measures will apply:
- A 20% reduction on the service call charge
- Your service will be escalated to the next available time slot
5.3 Project Delays
Should there be any delays in the project due to unexpected site conditions or material availability, we will communicate the revised timelines and make necessary schedule adjustments.
6. Safety and Site Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
Property owners are required to:
- Ensure unhindered and safe entry to work sites
- Disclose any hazardous substances or dangerous conditions
- Prevent children and pets from accessing work areas
- Adhere to safety directions provided by our technicians
6.2 Site Preparation
It is the responsibility of customers to:
- Remove personal belongings from work sites
- Provide sufficient space for the work to be conducted
- Secure their pets during service periods
- Notify neighbors about the forthcoming work
6.3 Conduct
A secure working environment must be provided by customers. We reserve the right to halt services if the site conditions are deemed hazardous to our technicians or the property.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our accountability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We do not assume responsibility for:
- Pre-existing issues with the plumbing systems
- Damage resulting from unknown defects
- Resultant damages from interruptions of service
- Problems due to insufficient maintenance
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We are covered by comprehensive liability insurance which encompasses our work and activities. Property insurance is the responsibility of our customers.
7.3 Warranty
Workmanship warranties are provided as specified in the service contract. Warranties from manufacturers apply to the materials and products used.
8. Modifications and Project Changes
We have the right to adjust project layouts based on site evaluations, compliance with building regulations, or material supply. Any modifications will be discussed and approved prior to their execution.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather events
- Natural catastrophes
- Governmental ordinances
- Disruptions in utility services
- Supply chain issues for materials
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By utilizing our services, you consent to the collection and usage of your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
